Hello. My name is Derrick Sledge, and I’m a Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and
Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling
from Texas A&M–Commerce and a Master’s in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological
Seminary. Also, I will soon hold a Doctorate in Educational Ministry, with a focus on
marriage and family, from Dallas Theological Seminary as well. Additionally, I’m a Certified
Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and a licensed Christian minister.
For nearly 30 years, in schools, churches, and private practice, I’ve empowered children
(ages 12+), teenagers, adults, couples, parents, and families to overcome their obstacles
and resolve their problems—whatever they may be. My counseling approach integrates
proven therapeutic techniques with biblical truth, helping clients experience freedom,
healing, and victory through God’s love and transforming power.
I meet with my clients for in-person sessions at our Plano office. I also offer telehealth
sessions through a secure and HIPAA-compliant platform. If you’re ready to begin your
